The Government Affairs committee supports public policies that foster economic growth, community and SDSU prosperity.
Committee Purpose:
Monitoring local, state and national issues is an important function of the government affairs committee. But it’s not only trends the committee works with. Societal trends and emerging local issues are studied and evaluated based on their influences on business and economic health. These evaluations form the basis for policy recommendations and programs that should be created to help inform members. Thanks to this committee, the Brookings Chamber members are always up-to-date.
