Brookings City Council

Brookings operates under a council-manager form of government. The Brookings City Council holds meetings on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month with a Work Session at 5:00 p.m. and Council Meeting at 6:00 p.m.

Brookings School Board

The Brookings Board of Education is governed by a 5-members elected to three-year terms. The Brookings School Board meets on the first Monday of the month at 6:00 p.m.

Brookings County Commission

Brookings County is governed by a five-member commission elected at large to four-year terms. The County Commission meets every Tuesday at 8:30 a.m.
